I packaged some items that belonged to my deceased father and sent them to his sister in Independence, Missouri. UPS claims that it was delivered, and told us the day and the time roughly that it was delivered. My aunt has surveillance cameras all over her place, and has never had issues with stealing prior to this delivery. I filed a report with UPS, explained to them that there was no delivery that day around that time, and they said they would open an investigation. Within weeks I got an email saying that the investigation was closed because the package was delivered. I explained to them that we have evidence that shows that there was no delivery that day, but they said it was delivered. They refuse to listen to what I’m saying, and refuse to payout for the claim. All of my dad‘s belongings were not worth much, they were all of sentimental value, things like his 74th birthday candles, which was his last birthday he had here on earth. Collectibles from when he was a kid some of my grandparents things that he had. UPS could not care less. Unfortunately, when I shipped the items, I shipped it in a Ryobi tabletop tile cutter box. I’m assuming the driver thought it was the actual tile cutter and he probably stole the package. I don’t say this lightly, but if UPS is telling me the package was scanned right there, but my cameras are showing that they never arrived, that means it was scanned on the truck and it left on the truck. I think UPS is awful for not trying to locate this, these are things that I can never get back. My father just passed away, and they couldn’t care less. UPS has the capability to look into this further, but they’re refusing to truly investigate. Shame on them.

Horrible, just horrible. My 100 year old grandmother broke her hip and requires surgery and rehab. After 3 weeks in rehab, Devoted determined she had to go and they would no longer pay. Mind you, she was still battling the effects of the anesthesia which fie the elderly is known to take up to a couple months. She couldn't walk more than twenty feet with the walker and assistance. But Devoted refuses to provide further coverage despite the medical professionals advocating for continued care. She fell at home two days later. 6 weeks later she was hospitalized with a high fever, extremely high blood pressure, and cold symptoms. She also couldnt walk or stand. She was that weak. A fever in someone that old is a medical emergency. Testing discovered she had parainfluenza. Three days after discharge, Devoted denied coverage saying there was nothing wrong with her. Funny how the medical professions at urgent care, ER, and her attending Dr. Disagreed. If you care about your loved one and dont want a headache for seeking care, dont choose Devoted. They are not devoted to your loved ones well being.

We booked to see eagles nest and it certainly didn't disappoint. Our tour guide was Johannas, he was so knowledgeable and friendly, during the tour he was giving out so much information. Arriving near the eagles nest the tour coach has to park in the car park and then you get on another bus run by German tourist board which takes you the rest of the way up. I will warn you it is very high and some steep drops when you look down! When you arrive you walk through a tunnel into a lift which takes you up to the property. Wow when you get up there the views are sensational. You can also take a short but steep walk up a hill to reach the summit. The house is (as it states) a restaurant now, but it is much more than that. There is literature and photos around to read about how it used to be and obviously the views which you never want to stop looking at. After leaving there, it was a short drive to Berchesgarten for lunch and a look around which is also beautiful with lots of different style and colour buildings. A brilliant time we had and would love to visit there again.
