Material 3 Window Size Classes helped Notability create a responsive two-pane layout that transitions smoothly between folded and expanded screens. Tracking the window itself allowed their layout and canvas zoom to ensure it felt native at every size, not just stretched to fit. Learn more about Window Size Classes → https://goo.gle/3UrcdT9

2m wide. 2.85m tall. 0.391m deep. Two-sided, PBR-ready, and platform verified. Most modular wall assets need work before they're usable. Wrong scale, flipped normals, messy topology. You spend an hour fixing before you can even light the scene. WallWithWindow_Modular skips all of that. It drops straight into Blender and behaves. The window cutout is clean geometry, not a texture trick. Snap it next to solid wall modules and the seams disappear. That's what verified means. We check the scale, the normals, and the topology so you don't have to. 1 EUR on PolyAssetVault 🧊 https://lnkd.in/eanuCF5K #3Dmodels #Blender #UnrealEngine #GameAssets #ModularAssets

Incredibly happy to announce that three new features I developed have now been released in the grid Finity layout tool. A new experimental feature allows you to import STL files as grid Finity bins. Another feature allows you to view your grid Finity layout in such a way that the interior of the bins is rendered correctly with all of its 3-D features and as of today you can use custom tags with icons and colours that are unique and consistent across the platform. check it out now https://lnkd.in/gPBp25N3

New day, new drop. #2 🚀 Feedback from user: when redesigning window, i cant pick the frame material, how can i do it? Any advice? Starting today, you can set the frame material yourself. Wood, aluminium, uPVC, black steel... That means the design window matches what you'd actually order, instead of whatever the AI decided looked good. P.S. If you haven't tried AI Window Design on MeltFlex yet, it's worth a look. Upload one photo, swap the frames, and see how much a single change lifts the whole facade. #AIinteriordesign #windows #renovation #meltflexai

Stop wasting time duplicating scenes to test different material finishes. Ben Robson shows you how to to master Multi-Materials in KeyShot. 👇 Setting up a dedicated multi-material structure allows you to swap out colors, textures, and entirely different material types on a single asset with a single click. Here is the breakdown of the setup pipeline directly inside the material graph: 1️⃣ Isolate Your Model: Ensure your target asset—like the curtain or sofa elements shown here—is fully unlinked from other geometry in your scene tree before editing. 2️⃣ Initialize Multi-Materials: Within the material tab, hit the "Multi-Material" button to convert your base layer. This opens up the dedicated region where you can add new material blocks or duplicate existing configurations. 3️⃣ Link and Unlink Smartly: Use the "Duplicate Material and Link Textures" option to change properties like color variants without rewriting or reloading heavy texture maps into memory. Just watch out for the sync button in the graph if you need to break global changes between variants. How often are you using Multi-Materials to pitch colorways to clients? Let us know in the comments. #keyshot

Experiment with packing space with little circles, modifying radius, colour and border thickness very slightly between each circle and its neighbours. A fun thing about doing this sort of stuff with Claude is that you can say "would a custom rasteriser be faster here" and it will prototype one and benchmark it against the naive circle-drawing method for you, and then you can say "can we have a SIMD-friendly blitter for painting contiguous pixels in the same colour" and "can we parallelise the raster" and it will dutifully go away and do these things and give you a 48x rendering speed improvement while also giving you better sub-pixel accuracy, and that's just half an hour or so of spitballing...

#LightSnacks The ÉPIX line isn’t just about pixels; it’s about how you build with them. In this episode, Anthony walks through the mounting accessories that help you shape your design: • Straight interlocking for clean linear runs and icicle looks • Spigot adapter for C-stand or truss mounting • Angling adapter for triangles and 90° pixel structures Watch the full breakdown here: https://lnkd.in/e2q4dyeR

Winging it is why gallery walls end up with holes everywhere and frames that never line up. Templates fix that. Three pieces suit a narrow wall or a spot above a nightstand, five fill the space above a couch, and seven is the most a small room should carry. Each layout has set sizes and positions so you copy it instead of guessing. The full 3, 5, and 7 piece templates with exact frame sizes are inside.
