The Google Play Points Sweepstakes is a limited-time promotional campaign that allows you to exchange your Play Points for a chance to win exciting physical and digital prizes. The campaign begins on August 17, 2026 and will run until September 14, 2026.
With the Google Play Points Sweepstakes, you can:
- Redeem your Play Points for sweepstakes entries
- Enter the sweepstakes without spending Play Points by mailing in a submission as outlined in the terms and conditions
Note: You can only enter the Google Play Points Sweepstakes via mobile. Entries are currently not supported on PC.
What you need
To participate in the Google Play Points Sweepstakes, you'll need:
- To be a resident of the United States.
- To meet the minimum age requirement of 18+ (19+ in Alabama and Nebraska)
- To enter using Play Points: An active Google Play Points account with a sufficient points balance.
- To enter without a Google Play Points account via alternate method of entry: mail in physical entry with submission details
- Make sure your Play Store app is updated to at least version 52.4
How to enter using Play Points
You can redeem your Play Points for sweepstakes entries directly within the Google Play Store app:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Navigate to the Sweepstakes landing page (accessible via the You tab, Perks tab, or Games Home).
- Select the ticket bundle you want to redeem.
- Confirm your points exchange.
The following packages of entries will be available:
- 10 entries for 10 Points
- 105 entries for 100 Points (5% bonus)
- 1,100 entries for 1,000 Points (10% bonus)
- 11,500 entries for 10,000 Points (15% bonus)
- 60,000 entries for 50,000 Points (20% bonus)
Note: All exchanges of Play Points for sweepstakes entries are final and non-refundable, as outlined in the Sweepstakes terms and conditions.
How can I enter without using Play Points?
If you do not have a Google Play Points account, you can still participate in the sweepstakes. You can submit your entry by following these steps:
- On a plain piece of 3”x5” paper, hand print your complete:
- First name
- Last name
- Street address
- City
- State
- Zip code
- Date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
- E-mail address
- Daytime telephone number including area code
- Mail your entry in a #10 business-size envelope with first-class postage affixed to:
- Google Play Points Summer Sweepstakes, POB 698, Syosset, NY 11791-0698
- Your outer-mailing envelope must include a valid return address, which includes a complete first and last name.
- Entries that are postmarked no earlier than by August 17, 2026 and no later than September 14, 2026 and received no later than September 18, 2026 will be eligible for the drawing.
- In the event a postmark date falls on a Sunday or federal holiday, the mail-in entry must be postmarked on the following business day.
Each mailed submission will count as 30 entries into the draw.
How to check my entries
- For entries made using Play Points: navigate to the Sweepstakes details page via Games Home, You Tab, or the Loyalty Perks card and you will be able to see a summary of your entries.
- For entries made via mail-in submission: As explained in the Sweepstakes terms and conditions, receipt confirmation for mail-in entries will not be provided. If you would like to take additional steps to ensure your mailed entries are successfully received, please submit these entries via certified or first class mail which includes a tracking number.
What if I entered my address wrong?
- Currently we will not be able to support requests to change or edit addresses. Please be mindful of entering the correct address upon submission.
- If the contact information and address are entered incorrectly or not entered, you may be disqualified and your entry will be void per terms and conditions.
Winning and Claiming Prizes
Winners will be randomly selected after the sweepstakes closes.
- Winner Notifications: Winners are selected and will be notified via the official googleplay-noreply@google.com Google email.
- Note: To avoid scams, please note official winners will only be notified via this email address. Do not reply or share information with anyone contacting you via any different communication channels.
- Taxes and Shipping: You may be required to pay taxes on prizes greater than $2,000.00 (or lower threshold as mandated by applicable state law) in value. Google Play will request your tax information if you win.
Important rules and eligibility
- If your account is suspended or flagged for fraudulent activity, all active sweepstakes entries are disqualified. No points refunds or prize claims will be processed.
