You can use Gemini to quickly add relevant new questions to your form based on your current content.
Tips:
- To get suggested questions from Gemini, your form must have a title and at least 2 questions.
- If you ask Gemini to generate questions as part of the quiz, set the answer key. To set the answer key, click Add answer feedback.
Add questions to your form
Important: You can use forms and quizzes in English only with a single section.
- On your computer, create or open a form on Google Forms.
- Use Gemini to generate questions for your form. You can generate questions in 2 ways:
- To give Gemini instructions on what to write: At the top right of the form, click Help me write a question

- You need an eligible Google Workspace plan with access to Gemini Beta.
- To ask Gemini to come up with ideas: At the bottom of the form, click Suggest questions.
- Gemini generates questions based on your form.
- To give Gemini instructions on what to write: At the top right of the form, click Help me write a question
- Select any questions you want to keep with a checkbox.
- Optional: To regenerate questions, click Retry.
- When the suggested questions look good to you, click Insert.

Google Workspace with Gemini is constantly learning and may not be able to support your request.
If you get a suggestion that’s inaccurate or that you feel is unsafe, you can let us know by submitting feedback. Your feedback can help improve AI-assisted Workspace features and broader Google efforts in AI.

- Form content that is referenced to generate questions
- Your feedback on the generated question
