You can track all live scores for your favorite sports teams directly on your Android device's lock screen. You can receive updates for a variety of sports, such as basketball, baseball, or soccer.
Important:
- This feature is available on devices running Android 14 and up. Learn how to check your Android version.
- Availability will vary across languages, devices, and manufacturers. To find out if your device has this feature, you can check with your manufacturer.
- If this feature isn’t available to you, you can still pin individual sports games to receive score notifications.
Get live updates for your teams’ games
- On your mobile device, open the Google app or go to google.com.
- Search for the sports team you want to follow.
- Next to the team's name, tap Follow.
Live updates appear on your lock screen for all games once you follow a team. Updates begin approximately 50 minutes before games.
Pin individual game scores to your lock screen
You can also pin individual game scores to your lock screen. You can do this even if you’re unable to follow a team.
- On your mobile device, open the Google app or go to google.com.
- Search for the game.
- Tap Follow match to pin the game score to your lock screen.
