We are upgrading our support workflows to improve your experience when working with Google's support teams.
What is changing?
Starting soon, you will notice a few minor updates in how we communicate with you:
- Support Case IDs: The format of Case IDs will be changing to an 8-digit number-only structure, instead of the 14-digit hyphenated number you see today.
- Support Email Addresses: You may receive responses from updated Google support email addresses during the transition period.
What this means for you
- No action is required from you. You can continue to reach out to us through the Help Center and your usual support channels.
- If you use email filters or allowlists, please ensure that you continue to accept all emails from the @google.com domain so you do not miss any important communications on your cases.
- Our commitment remains the same. The core support teams you work with are not changing, and we remain fully dedicated to helping your business succeed.
We are working hard behind the scenes to make this transition as seamless as possible. Please be reassured that our teams are proactively monitoring the transition and will quickly mitigate any friction to deliver the high-quality support you have come to expect from Google.
This transition will also allow us to roll-out new and exciting support features in the future. Stay tuned for more!
Thank you for your continued partnership.
